                                                           ~ ABOUT ME ~

Creating my own business plan was my most memorable college assignment.  It  didn’t take long for me to come up with the idea of an Event Planning business.  Planning and hosting comes naturally to me and I did just that for friends and family over the years.  After days of preparation, great meals and sharing stories, I realized I never had the chance to sit down and enjoy my own event!  I’ve always loved attending to the details and seeing the final outcome of my events, but was never able to actually enjoy time with my friends and family.

My experience in the industry began when I managed a gourmet deli. I was responsible for an  entire store and in addition, off premise catering which I loved.  I thoroughly enjoyed assisting customers plan their events.   Attending and serving their event was part of the service and I made sure that all went smoothly so they didn't lift a finger and were able to enjoy.  Involvement in the catering business was great, but I was inspired to do more.

A few years later I was very blessed when an amazing person came into my life.  Now it was time to plan my own wedding.  Every aspect from the Engagement Party through the wedding day was thought through with extensive detail and went off without a hitch.  The ability to use my creativity and personalize every element was amazing and I couldn't get enough.  I knew this was the road I wanted to take. 

The idea of The Silver Platter was designed to help people enjoy and actually be a part of their own event. Some people don’t know where to get started, and others might just need an extra hand the day of.  My organizational skills, experience and attention to detail will help you get through each step of your event with ease.  I have flexible packages that will provide as much or as little assistance as you may need.  Wouldn't it be great to be a guest at your own event?  Well, that’s why I’m here.
